HoREA proposes to remove obstacles for 64 commercial and social housing projects

The Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association (HOREA) has just submitted a proposal to the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to consider removing “obstacles” in legal or construction investment procedures of 64 real estate projects. , commercial houseproject social housing.

Specifically, according to HOREA, there are many businesses that negotiate for site clearance to have a clean land fund and self-finance capital (including loans with commercial interest rates) to invest in the construction of social housing projects, especially especially social housing projects for rent. However, due to “obstacles” mainly in law enforcement, a number of projects were “congested” and could not be implemented.

In addition, the Association proposed to soon remove “obstacles” in construction investment procedures of real estate and commercial housing projects… not subject to legal review and inspection. , inspection, investigation, in order to create conditions for investors to continue implementing the project, to pay land use fees, and to be granted certificates for home buyers.

By the end of March, the number of legal entanglements was still at 64 projects that negatively impacted the real estate market in Ho Chi Minh City, causing the housing supply to stagnate and plummet while the House prices have increased continuously for the past 2-3 years. Following many projects that could not be completed, the issuance of pink books caused frustration for tens of thousands of households over the past decade.

In order to stabilize the real estate market in the next 12-24 months, according to HoREA Chairman, the city needs to speed up the resolution of legal problems for 64 projects to speed up construction before the first 6 months of 2022. .
