On the afternoon of March 30, the “Car of the Year 2022” award co-organized by Otofun and Otosaigon forums announced the final results after 10 days with nearly 315,000 votes. Accordingly, Toyota Camry won the “Car of the year 2022” award with the highest total votes of the community and the jury, surpassing Kia Carnival and Hyundai Santa Fe. One of the factors that makes the Toyota Camry so popular is that it is equipped with the first hybrid engine in the sedan segment in Vietnam.

This year, the additional awards for “Green Car of 2022” and “Impressive Car of 2022”, respectively belong to VinFast VF e34 and Hyundai Santa Fe. VinFast VF e34 was successful because it was the first popular electric car model in Vietnam and received 25,000 orders after only 3 months of opening for sale. Meanwhile, Hyundai Santa Fe makes a good impression because of its innovative design, many technologies, and diverse versions, always in the Top 10 best-selling cars every month.
