When video games script for reality, forcing gamers to make the most ruthless choices

Gaming is currently one of the world’s leading entertainment options, with a large and diverse number of games on a variety of high-end platforms. However, what if what happens on the computer screen directly affects reality? What if the game that you are still immersed in every day suddenly controls you back and manipulates everything that happens around you? Netflix will illustrate that terrifying scenario through the sci-fi horror film Choose or Die.

[Vietsub] The Choose or Die trailer aired, opening up a scary scenario when a video game can reverse control people, manipulate reality and cause horrible deaths.

To make it easier to imagine, imagine Choose or Die like a combination of Black Mirror and Saw. The film revolves around a mysterious game from the 80s called CURS>R (Curser – curse). Kayla, a poor student who recently lost her job and place to live, and her friend Isaac risked playing this game in the hope of winning a prize of 125,000 USD.

However, what they didn’t know was that from the moment CURS>R was turned on, it immediately dominated the reality around them and forced them to make the most ruthless choices. It writes down scenarios that correspond to reality, with what is happening in front of Kayla and Isaac and offers 2 solutions to the problem. However, no matter what the player decides, the consequences of CURS>R are still extremely cruel, even at the expense of other people’s lives. If you don’t choose, the player will have to pay with his own life.
