“If it is related to logistics issues, we coordinate with customers to change the form. Before shipping by sea, it is replaced by air, even by road”, said Mr. Bach Thang Long – Deputy General Director of Garment 10 Corporation said.

With the volume of goods transported from China to Vietnam, accounting for about 35% of the total number of multimodal import and export orders, Diamond Star Logistics Company said that currently 80 – 90% of the shipments from China are from China. This delivery time is delayed from 2 weeks to 1 month.

Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade said: “Enterprises will have to delay the progress and this also promotes FDI enterprises in Vietnam to link and transfer technology more strongly. for domestic enterprises, or in other words, to increase the number of suppliers of raw materials in Vietnam so that they can be more proactive in supplying raw materials”.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is still continuing to coordinate with ministries, branches and People’s Committees of border provinces to work with the Chinese side, thereby affirming that the Vietnamese side always pays attention to and ensures epidemic prevention when circulating goods across the border. border gates and seaports.
