Situation of vaccination against COVID-19

On March 30, 224,848 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were injected. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 206,106,897 doses, of which:

+ Number of injections for people aged 18 and over is 188,929.522 doses: 1st dose is 71,234,891 doses; The second dose is 68,040.384 doses; The third dose is 1,503,535 doses; The additional dose is 14,913,043 doses; The booster dose is 33.237,669 doses.

+ Number of doses for children aged 12-17 is 17,177,375 doses: 1st dose is 8,803,806 doses; The second dose is 8,373,569 doses.

– On March 31, 2022, the Ministry of Health issued Decision No. 796/QD-BYT amending Article 1 of Decision No. 3122/QD-BYT dated June 28, 2021 of the Minister of Health approving that vaccine conditions for urgent needs in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.

– Directing localities to organize booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine, whereby people who have received the full basic dose with the mRNA vaccine (a vaccine manufactured by Pfizer or Moderna) can receive a booster dose with the vaccine. vaccine is manufactured by Astrazeneca, the minimum injection time is 03 months after the last injection of the basic dose.
