Proposing parking spots to serve metro Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station

In order to serve the Nhon – Hanoi metro line to operate the elevated section by the end of this year, Hanoi Parking Lot Exploitation One Member Company Limited (Parking Point Exploiting Company) has just proposed to the Department of Transport. parking facilities serving people along the train journey from Nhon to Cau Giay.

The Hanoi Parking Lot Exploitation Company said that, following the direction of the Hanoi Department of Transport, the Parking Lot Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. has conducted a survey of routes and streets along the Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station metro line to locate parking spots within a radius of 500m and propose parking spots at elevated stations along the route.

Parking spots are located within a radius of 500m belonging to 8 metro stations Nhon – Hanoi station. There are about 10 proposed parking spots, of which 4 are being managed and operated by the Parking Company. Including: Cau Giay parking spot (at the dead end road at Voi Phuc junction, Ngoc Khanh ward); La Thanh parking spot (opposite V-Tower building, Ngoc Khanh ward); parking spot under Mai Dich bridge (Mai Dich ward); Island parking lot separating traffic next to Mai Dich bridge (section from Ho Tung Mau street to Pham Hung).

New proposed parking spots, including: Khuc Thua Du street parking (section from Cau Giay street to lane 45 Tran Thai Tong street, Dich Vong ward); parking spot on Nguyen Phong Sac street (section from Tran Dang Ninh street to Cau Giay street, Dich Vong ward); parking spot on Tran Quy Kien street (section from Cau Giay street to Dich Vong urban area street, Dich Vong ward); sidewalk parking spot on Cau Giay street (under the University of Transport bridge (Ngoc Khanh ward).

According to the plan, the Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station metro project with a length of 12.5km (8.5km above ground and 4km underground), is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2022. Hanoi Railway Company Limited (Hanoi Metro) is the operator of the trains.

The Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB) said that during the first two months of trial operation, if the operator does not request the contractor to correct and complete relevant contents, completed and officially put into commercial use.
