Singapore is ready for reopening from April 1

From April 1, all travelers who have had enough vaccinations and children aged 12 and under entering Singapore are not required to be isolated.

Mr. S. Iswaran – Singapore’s Transport Minister: “I have met retailers, I have met ground staff, airport staff, I can feel their excitement and optimism very clearly. They both want to see Changi Airport get busy again. They are preparing for the important work of connecting and reopening our borders.”

Singapore’s aviation industry is also hiring more staff after the workforce was cut significantly during the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This week, Singapore also dropped the requirement to wear a mask when going out, although it is still encouraged.
