In the morning of March 30, many images showed that a hot air balloon had landed on the road, suspected of affecting traffic. Answering this question, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien said that this was not an incident, the hot air balloon had landed on the route on both sides of the Lo River. This is an unexploited road, so it is very deserted. When landing, the pilot can observe from afar and land safely, waiting for traffic regulation to turn off the gas to deflate the balloon.
Mr. Chien also said that each hot air balloon has 1-2 logistics vehicles, including doctors and police, to follow and pick up at the landing point. Therefore, there is no matter that the vehicles are in circulation, but the hot air balloon descends directly to the road, the position of the landing due to the wind may be slightly deviated.
Ms. Ha also explained that the image on social networks shared that the hot air balloon did not land directly on the road, but the basket was on an empty field. After regulating the vehicle, meeting all safety conditions, the pilot deflated the bridge. “The balloon is very big, so the image seems to occupy the aisle, but the range of the balloon has been surveyed before by the organizers, with a logistics vehicle to support it,” Ms. Ha said.
According to regulations, hot air balloons are only allowed to fly within a radius of 5 km from the starting point (Nguyen Tat Thanh square), so when the time runs out (about 45 minutes), there is an empty field like an empty road or a field from afar. .. the pilot will slowly lower altitude, releasing air to slow down.

Tuyen Quang International Balloon Festival was first held, taking place at Nguyen Tat Thanh square, Tan Trao historical site and Na Hang nature reserve, from March 30 to April 3.
