This is decided according to the provisions of the FLC and Bamboo Group’s Charter, in the event that the Chairman of the Board of Directors is detained, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors will hold the position of Chairman until a new decision of the Board of Directors is issued.

Although before being arrested and detained on March 29, FLC President Trinh Van Quyet authorized Ms. Vu Dang Hai YenDeputy General Director of the Group exercises the rights of Chairman of the Board of Directors of FLC and Chairman of Bamboo Airways, as well as all rights of shareholders.

However, according to the Group’s charter, it is Mr. Thang who replaces the position of Chairman because Mr. Quyet cannot take this position.

The rights of FLC shareholders and Bamboo Airways shareholders correspond to all shares that Mr. Trinh Van Quyet owns in the two enterprises and other assets and rights of Mr. Quyet are performed by Ms. Vu Dang Hai Yen on behalf of Mr. Quyet according to the License. authorization signed by Mr. Quyet earlier.

Mr. Dang Tat Thang graduated with a master’s degree in Construction and Project Management from Northumbria University (UK), and is a familiar leader at FLC, Bamboo Airways.

At Bamboo Airways, he is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director. At FLC, Mr. Thang has been deputy general director since 2014 and was elected vice chairman of the Board of Directors for the term 2021-2026 from April 2021.

Mr. Thang is also a senior employee with experience in operating and managing many important areas of FLC, especially aviation and investment and project development.

Bamboo Airways is operating a network of 70 domestic and international routes, transporting nearly 10 million passengers per year. In 2022, Bamboo Airways aims to expand its flight network to 120 routes, including 80 domestic routes and 40 international routes.
