The localities that recorded the highest number of infections compared to yesterday include Vinh Phuc (up 163 cases), Binh Duong (up 155 cases), Dak Nong (up 68 cases).

Thus, since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 9,650,663 infections, ranking 12 out of 227 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per million people, Vietnam ranks 110/227 contries and territories.

Particularly for the fourth epidemic wave from April 27, 2021 to present, the whole country has 9,642,929 infections, 7,603,659 patients have been declared cured. Localities with high infection rates in this outbreak include Hanoi (1,782,516), Ho Chi Minh City (595,310), Nghe An (395,097), Binh Duong (377,548), Hai Duong (345,273).

Regarding the treatment situation, during the day, 87,463 patients recovered, bringing the total number of cured cases to 7,606,476. There are 2,541 serious patients nationwide, of which 209 are invasive ventilators.

Regarding the testing situation, from April 27, 2021 to present, 38,478,711 samples have been taken, equivalent to 84,412,291 turns of people.

Regarding the vaccination situation, the total number of vaccines administered is 206,338,189 doses. In which, the number of injections for people aged 18 years and over is 189,154,469 doses. The number of doses for children from 12-17 years old is 17,183,720 doses.
