FLC’s tens of trillion projects waiting to be deployed in Nghe An

In the past 6 years, Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee has called on FLC Group Joint Stock Company to survey and award investment certificates for 4 big projects in Nghi Loc, Tan Ky and City districts. Vinh. However, these business projects have not been implemented in reality.

Specifically, on February 19, 2017, FLC Group and Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation, creating favorable conditions for businesses to research and survey investment. In order to implement the project quickly, FLC Group requested the People’s Committee of Nghe An province to clear the site (clearance) in the fourth quarter of 2018. It is expected that this project will be put into operation after 2 years of construction.

However, from 2017 until now, the project is still “immoving” after surveys and local reality in Nghi Loc district.

“So far, our commune has not received any legal documents or planning related to FLC Group’s investment. If the project is implemented, about 700 households will be affected. People wait 2 to 3 years because they don’t dare to build houses. Until now, because of waiting too long, people in this area have started construction,” said Mr. Phi.

In 2018, Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee awarded the investment registration certificate to FLC Group at two high-tech agricultural projects worth 300 billion VND and a natural stone mining and processing project in Tan Ky district.

Information from Tan Ky District People’s Committee, this locality is studying and transferring the above 2 projects of FLC to other enterprises.

Next, in April 2019, Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee signed with FLC Group survey of the resort urban area in the south of the city. Vinh. The project is located in Hung Hoa commune, with a scale of 1,177 hectares, with a total investment of 5,000 billion VND.
