New rates apply for cars entering and leaving the airport from today 1/4

Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has just made a decision on the price collection for cars entering and leaving the airport throughout the port system managed and operated by this unit. Accordingly, the toll collection will be different between groups of airports in terms of high frequency operation and a system to control vehicles in and out of parking lots and parking lots.

Specifically, for airports that operate with high frequency and have a vehicle control system in and out of parking lots and parking lots, including: Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, and Da Nang, the applicable price is 10,000. VND/passenger/vehicle for the first 10 minutes for cars with up to 9 seats, trucks under 1.5 tons (down 5 thousand VND compared to before); 15,000 VND/passenger/vehicle for cars with 10 – 29 seats, trucks up to 7 tons and the highest is 25,000 VND/time/car for the first 10 minutes for cars with 30 seats or more, trucks over 7 tons .

Cars entering and leaving for more than 10 minutes will be subject to the current applicable rates for using the car park service, which have been registered with the People’s Committee of the province or city.

For the remaining 18 airports, the lowest price applicable to cars with up to 9 seats and trucks under 1.5 tons is 5,000 VND/passenger/vehicle for the first 10 minutes; 5,000 VND/passenger/vehicle for the next 50 minutes and an additional 5,000 VND/way/car for each of the next 2 hours.

The highest level is 25,000 VND/passenger/vehicle for cars with 30 seats or more, trucks larger than 7 tons in the first 10 minutes; 10,000 VND/passenger/vehicle for the next 50 minutes and an additional 10,000 VND/way/car for each of the next 2 hours.

In addition to occasional vehicles, ACV also proposes a preferential price option for cars that use the stop and park service to pick up and drop off passengers at regular airports; the list of priority vehicles that do not charge for the use of stop and park services to pick up and drop off passengers at airports.

According to ACV leaders, the proposed price of ACV is lower than that of Van Don International Airport, which is about 30% for the first 60-minute block, and at the same time lower than the price of parking services in localities. .

According to ACV, the revenue from the exploitation of roads and car parks at ports, although enough to cover the regular operating costs, is still insufficient to reinvest, upgrade and expand infrastructure of roads and yards, according to ACV. parked at airports in the period of 2021 – 2025.

It is known that the need for investment capital for the access to the terminals of the airports and the car parks at 18 airports (excluding Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, and Da Nang have collected private parking fees). ) is 5,575 billion VND.
