Toyota Innova electric concept launched
IndonesiaThe electric concept model developed from Innova is the premise of one of 10 electric car models that the Japanese company plans for the Southeast Asian country.
The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2022 opens on March 31 and one of the vehicles on display is the Toyota Innova EV Concept. Based on the second generation Innova currently sold in Southeast Asian countries, the model shown is a preview version of the electric version of the Innova for the Indonesian market.

The car is painted white with a blue decal, with many accents of the same color in the headlights and taillights. The logo of the Japanese brand also plays the typical blue color of electric cars. In particular, like models that do not use internal combustion engines, Innova EV has a closed grille.
The interior of the concept has also been redesigned, with the instrument cluster being more modern, but not digital, but still a traditional mechanical watch. In particular, the car still has a rev counter despite using an electric motor. An infotainment screen next to the steering wheel, displays battery level, remaining distance, speed.

However, since this is a concept, what is shown may not be applicable on the production version. Currently, Toyota has not announced detailed specifications of the Innova EV.
In Vietnam, Innova is currently sold with 4 versions, all equipped with 2.0 engine capacity of 137 horsepower and torque of 183 Nm. The listed price is 750-989 million VND.
