US House of Representatives approves bill to impose a $35/month out-of-pocket insulin cost limit

US lawmakers passed the measure in a 232/193 vote. The bill is currently awaiting approval by the US Senate.

Current Act on Insulin Pricewhich will go into effect in 2023, limits cost-sharing under private health insurance to a month’s supply of certain insulin products to $35 or 25% of the plan’s negotiated price , whichever is lower.
