On April 1, the Criminal Police Department (Hanoi City Police) said it was holding 31 subjects to investigate the act of forging documents by agencies and organizations.

Previously, on March 29, the CSHS Department coordinated with professional units to deploy 12 working groups in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Nam Dinh province to search 12 locations and summon 44 related subjects. to a line to fake a driver’s license for a car or motorbike.

Authorities seized nearly 400 sets of driver’s license documents for cars and motorbikes, including papers such as health examination papers, test results, etc. 10,800 plastic pieces glued to the front and back of the license card driver, 4 sets of round stamps printed with “Vietnam Road Administration”, 7 color paper printers, 4 printers…

Initially, the investigating agency determined that there were 5 groups of fake car documents and detained 31 subjects for the act of forging documents of agencies and organizations.

According to the CSHS Department, the subjects posted ads for driving licenses on Zalo and Facebook networks in groups such as: Center for receiving driving license documents, “Viet Thanh License Center”, “National driving license service”, “National driving license center”… When asked by customers, the subjects said that there is an “underground work” with prices ranging from 1-1.5 million VND for a motorbike license, 2-6 million VND for a motorbike license. cars are classified according to grades A1, A2, B1… so they won’t have to go to school or take exams; It only takes 5-7 days to get the degree. Guests only need to submit documents including ID card, photo, phone number and address to receive the diploma.

To make fake certificates, subjects went online to buy hard drives containing data files to print papers, fake driver’s licenses, seals of provinces. Then buy a printer, stamping machine, heat press machine and hard plastic card to print the blank with imitation and send it to customers by post.

Money will be requested by the subjects to transfer to a bank account in someone else’s name and buy fake identity cards to create an app (app) to receive money to avoid detection. In just over a year, the subjects obtained illegal profits of about 20 billion VND.
