The explosion resounded to the capital of Belgorod.

A video recorded by a dash cam and circulating online shows the moment one of the shells – the one that damaged power lines, fell to the ground. This projectile appeared to be a large, unguided missile that fell to the side of the road and sent rocks flying.

It is not clear where the bullets came from and Russian authorities have not yet held anyone responsible for the incident.

Also on April 1, a civilian fuel depot on the outskirts of Belgorod was attacked by two helicopters. Russian officials have accused the Ukrainian military of the incident. However, Ukraine has denied the allegation and questioned whether the Russian side was negligent.

According to The Guardian, Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of Ukraine’s National Security Council, has refused to accept responsibility for the attack. “For some reason they said we did it, but it doesn’t match reality.”
