Compared with the same period, there were 11/19 revenues, the tax with the growth rate is: Personal income tax is estimated to increase by 20.6%; environmental protection tax is estimated to increase by 7.1%; registration fee is estimated to increase by 5.1%; fees – fees are estimated to increase by 4.2%; land rental is estimated to increase by 26.9%; land use levy is estimated to increase by 21%.

According to the General Department of Taxation, revenue The first quarter of 2022 achieved good progress in the implementation of the estimate and increased over the same period due to the continued control of the epidemic situation across the country and the recovery of production and business activities. The supportive policies of the Government have been working well, enterprises have accelerated their production and business activities. The number of newly established enterprises and returned to operation in the first quarter of 2022 increased by 36.7% over the same period last year (on average, 20,000 enterprises were newly established and returned to operation a month); total registered capital into the economy increased by 21%, of which additional registered capital of operating enterprises increased by 34.5%.

The service sector in the first quarter of 2022 prospered when many service activities were active again. In addition to businesses promoting production and business activities and making great contributions to the budget, the above results are achieved because the tax industry has synchronously implemented management solutions.

As of March 14, 2022, the whole tax industry has stepped up inspection and examination; the total amount proposed to be handled through inspection and examination is VND 4,255 billion. Accelerating the application and electronicization of the tax industry

Following the Government’s direction in Resolution 01 and the action plan of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation continued to implement solutions to reform tax administrative procedures; implementing information technology projects on schedule; continue to maintain, deploy tax, pay tax, refund tax electronically; deploying electronic invoices (e-invoices).

As a result, in terms of electronic tax declaration for businesses, the electronic tax declaration system has been deployed in 63/63 provinces and cities and 100% of Tax Departments affiliated to them. In 2022, as of March 19, 2022, there were 854,606 businesses using electronic tax declaration services, reaching the rate of 99.86%.

Regarding electronic tax payment for businesses, as of March 18, there were 847,246 enterprises registered to use the service with tax authorities, reaching 99.0%.

Regarding the implementation of electronic tax declaration service for individuals: The General Department of Taxation has completed the implementation of electronic tax declarations for property leasing activities (including house rental activities) at 63 Tax Departments. and affiliated Tax Departments. As of March 18, 2022, there were 549,516 registered accounts.

Regarding electronic tax payment for individuals: The General Department of Taxation has connected with 8 commercial banks (VietcomBank, VietinBank, AgriBank, MBBank, VPBank, BIDV, TPBank, SHB) to provide electronic tax payment services. for individuals. Accordingly, individuals can use electronic forms of tax payment through payment channels of banks such as internet banking, mobile banking.

Notably, the General Department of Taxation has just announced an e-commerce portal for foreign suppliers to register for tax, declare tax, and pay tax into the State budget of Vietnam. pay taxes through the e-commerce portal for foreign suppliers.

About deploying Electronic Tax application for mobile devices (eTax Mobile 1.0). Up to now, there have been 16,636 taxpayers using the eTax Mobile application, 20,740 people have registered for an account via the application (App), the number of tax payment transactions via the App is 7,600 transactions with a total amount of nearly 13.8 billion copper.

Regarding the implementation of e-invoices, the tax sector is applying e-invoices in 6 provinces and cities including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Binh Dinh, and Phu Tho. By the end of March 20, 2022, there were 437,453 enterprises registered and used e-invoices according to regulations.

Continuing to implement the second phase of e-invoice, the tax authority has a detailed plan to apply e-invoice in the remaining 57 provinces and cities. At the same time, it is urgent to implement specific tasks such as: Deploying IT technical infrastructure for nationwide expansion from April 2022.
