Hanoi asks students not to let students study online for a long time

The Hanoi People’s Committee has just issued a plan to overcome limitations and shortcomings in epidemic prevention and control COVID-19.

The City People’s Committee directs units to continue implementing measures to ensure epidemic prevention and control at educational and training institutions when pupils and students live learning; based on the epidemic situation to organize appropriate teaching methods; regularly check and evaluate to understand the negative effects of online learning, especially for young children, for timely solutions.

The Department of Education and Training shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Health in, reviewing guidelines for COVID-19 prevention and control in education and training activities; continue to implement solutions to ensure a safe and effective implementation of the 2021-2022 school year, suitable to the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic in each locality; develop scenarios appropriate to the situation when students return to school; coordinate with the Department of Health to organize immunization for school-age students.
