Man City reclaimed the top, Chelsea lost in shock

Victory of Liverpool in the early game put pressure on Man City when they came as guests on Burnley’s field. However, Pep Guardiola’s teachers and students immediately regained the top of the table when they easily defeated them Burnley – the team is second from the bottom on the leaderboard.

The defending Premier League champions only took 5 minutes to open the scoring and the second goal was scored in the first half. Both City’s goals had the same script, when Raheem Sterling penetrated the penalty area from the right to create goals for Kevin de Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan.

Burnley barely had a chance to respond as City kept the game under control. The home team had to wait until the second half to have the first shot on target. Even when Man City reduced the tempo of the game to keep up with the upcoming series of 4 difficult matches, Burnley could not score.
