Old town house fire, one person died
HanoiAt 4:00 p.m. on April 2, a fire broke out in the warehouse of people’s daily life in alley 43 Bat Dan, Cua Dong ward, Hoan Kiem district, killing one person.
The Hanoi police said that they sent 2 fire engines, a command vehicle and 12 officers and soldiers of the Hoan Kiem District Police to the scene. By 4:15, firefighters had extinguished the fire.

Six people were taken out, but a 40-year-old woman died. The victim just moved in with her family for two days, showing signs of mental instability.
Cause of the fire is being clarified.

This is the second fire in Hanoi where people have died in the past 48 hours. Earlier on the evening of March 31, a motel in Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district, was set on fire, killing one person and injuring five others.
