Quang Tri – The bright spot of economic development in the Central region

With the goal of maintaining growth momentum, many breakthrough ways are being implemented by Quang Tri province. Many new projects are coming to invest here, creating a vivid picture in the economic development of this central province.

In order to attract more investors to Quang Tri, Quang Tri province has coordinated with the Singapore Manufacturing Federation to develop a provincial planning scheme and 28 sectoral planning projects. Quang Tri is step by step promoting and improving investment environmentfind every opportunity to promote investment.

Mr. Truong Chi Trung, Director of Quang Tri Department of Planning and Investment, said: “The Department of Planning and Investment has advised, in order to develop orientations on investment attraction for the period 2021-2025, building a list of projects As a priority project to attract investment, we have also coordinated with relevant agencies to build many publications promoting investment and conduct promotion on many different media channels.

In the past year, Quang Tri province has granted investment policies to 67 projects, with a total committed capital of over 70 trillion VND, and the total realized investment capital of 28600 billion VND.

Quang Tri is one of the 11 localities with the shortest time to issue a new business registration certificate and one of the eight localities with the shortest time to adjust business registration information in the country.

Mr. Vo Van Hung, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province, said: “We develop strategies and plans to invite investors to Quang Tri to build Quang Tri into an energy center in the central region. This is a strategic and breakthrough direction in the coming time and as well as the potential and advantages of Quang Tri, in the East and West regions.

“Promoting internal resources, taking advantage of external forces” Quang Tri province is becoming a safe land for investors to feel secure on the way to accompany the province. Striving to turn Quang Tri into a province with a development level in the middle and high group by 2025 and in the group of 30 top provinces in the country by 2030.
