Samsung follows Apple again-Hi-tech fashion

After Apple announced its iPhone repair parts supply program, it was Samsung’s turn to do the same.

In a highlight of the Right to Be Corrected Act, Samsung announced that they will be partnering with iFixit to provide user-replaceable parts for their most popular lines of mobile devices that have reached consumers such as the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S21as well as the Galaxy Tab S7+ tablet.

Through its partnership with iFixit, America’s largest repair community, Samsung says it will provide “genuine device parts, repair tools, and intuitive, step-by-step repair instructions.” for the aforementioned devices starting this summer.

In the beginning, iFixit will provide tools and instructions while Samsung will give access to the original display assemblies (with built-in battery), back glass, and charging port, but in the future there will be more listings. More components items are included in the program, as are additional devices.
