The price of the black Honda Cub C125 car has a difference of 80 million dong

Super Cub C125 new version with matte black paint officially introduced to the Vietnamese market by Honda from mid-October 2021.

This model has a list price of up to 87.99 million VND, nearly 1 million VND higher than the standard version. The car is imported CBU from Thailand. Although quite attractive to consumers right from the moment it was launched, until now this model is very rare and has an expensive price tag.

Specifically, at most authorized Head Honda dealers in Hanoi, they report out of stock or not yet Honda Cub C125 Matte black version and it is expected that there will be no more cars coming back in the near future.

“Customers asked to buy a lot, but the company reported that the car was out of stock. In the near future, there is no information about whether the car will be available to the dealer anymore”, said an employee of a Honda dealer Kuong Ngan.

While genuine dealers report out of stock, outside traders are selling this matte black Cub C125 for a sky-high price from 160 to 170 million dong. This price is 72-82 million VND higher than the listed price of the car.

“Black cars are so rare now, I hunted until I could get a few to sell. Many streams of information believe that this version is no longer produced and is dead. That is the main reason why there is a shortage of cars in the whole system, it is difficult for people to want to buy them,” said Mr. T., a trader specializing in strange motorbikes and motorbikes with beautiful license plates in Hanoi.

According to Mr. T. in the near future, the car price is likely to increase even more, possibly touching the threshold of 180-190 million VND.

Not only the matte black version, the standard Honda Cub C125 is currently priced from 100-103 million VND. The difference with the listed price reached 13 million VND.

With the above price, Honda Cub C125 is currently the most expensive digital car in Vietnam. Even more expensive than many high-end scooters, including the SH 150 2022. The car is aimed at high-income customers and those who like to collect this Cub line.

Honda Super Cub C125 2022 is equipped with a 4-stroke, 125 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 9.2 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.

The car still has a nostalgic design with modern features like the old version. Newer cars can only add the rear seat. The model in Vietnam has not yet been equipped with ABS brakes for the front wheels.
