The localities with the highest number of cases in this outbreak are Hanoi (1,489,939), Ho Chi Minh City (596,056), Nghe An (398,008), Binh Duong (378,296) and Hai Duong (346,361). Regarding treatment, during the day, 106,878 patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 7,713,354 cases. The average number of deaths in the past 7 days is 44 cases. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam so far is 42,563, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections. According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths in our country ranks 24 out of 227 territories. Compared to Asia, the total number of deaths ranked 6/49 (3rd in ASEAN).

Regarding testing, from April 27, 2021 to now, our country has carried out 38,552,129 test samples, equivalent to 84,490.344 turns of people, an increase of 73,418 samples compared to the previous day.

Regarding vaccination, on day ¼, 122,687 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 206,460,876 doses. In which, the number of injections for people aged 18 years and over is 189,274,809 doses. The number of doses for children from 12 to 17 years old is 17,186,067 doses.
