Verify the teacher “deliberately revealed the semester exam questions”

On April 2, the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province said that it had asked the Phu Thien District Department of Education and Training to verify information about a teacher suspected of intentionally revealing exam questions for the first semester, the school year 2021-2022.

Accordingly, Ms. NTTH (parents of grade 9/1 students, Nguyen Trung Truc Secondary School, Phu Thien district) made an application to Gia Lai province’s Department of Education and Training to clarify that teacher Nguyen Thi Then (Head of Language Group) Literature and Citizenship Education, Nguyen Trung Truc Secondary School) revealed the exam questions at the end of the first semester of the 9th grade Citizenship Education subject given by this school.

In addition, teacher Then is also suspected of leaking the final exam questions for the first semester of 9th grade Literature, which were set by the Department of Education and Training of Phu Thien district.

The exam questions for Citizenship Education for the first semester of the school year 2021-2011 of Nguyen Trung Truc Secondary School were shared by students before the exam date.

According to Mr. Le Xuan Chuong, Principal of Nguyen Trung Truc Secondary School, Ms. Then teaches online tutoring for some students.

While teaching, Ms. Then left the computer and asked her son to help. At this time, her son opened the exam file for the first semester of the civics exam, so the exam question was accidentally displayed on the screen and the student took a picture.

Then, when the NNL student (the daughter of NTTH) asked for the course outline, NBCN’s younger brother (grade 9/1) sent the photo file of this exam to L.

The school then reorganized the exam for Citizenship Education.

Regarding the above explanation, Ms. NTTH said that it was not satisfactory because the photos of the exam questions were taken directly from the computer, not through the zoom software. In addition, the messages showed that NBCN students were the ones who directly sent the exam questions to her children.

“Such explanation is unreasonable, irresponsible, blames all the students. If it is accidental, it is not possible to reveal both topics, students also know that they will choose one of the two topics like that” – Ms. NTTH said.

Particularly, the content of the suspicion that Ms. Nguyen Thi Then revealed the exam questions at the end of the 1st semester of Grade 9 Literature, Nguyen Trung Truc Secondary School said that there was no basis because the Examination Council worked in accordance with the regulations, opened the packaging. exam questions at 7:10 am on January 17 in the teacher’s waiting room, witnessed by the exam teacher.

The content of the exchange messages of the 9/1 group of students made Ms. NTTH suspect that Ms. Then also revealed the Literature exam question before the exam time.

However, according to Ms. NTTH, this content is not satisfactory. Specifically, at 7:9 am on January 17, NBCN students messaged in the chat group of class 9/1 that “Ivory comb, brothers” (the name of the work is included in the exam).

On the previous night, NBCN also messaged in this group that: “Usually watch out for teachers”; “If before I go to class, I tell Miss Then spoid (Spoil: reveal first – pv) and then look it up online”.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Then said that she only teaches fostering for students, not tutoring, does not collect money and does not give students exam questions.

After the incident happened, this teacher was disciplined with a warning.
