On the evening of April 3, the police of Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province were investigating and clarifying the cause of four female students tragically drowning in Hoa Hiep commune.
Accordingly, around 2pm on the same day, a group of boys and girls aged 12-15 (grades 7 to 9) invited each other to hang out and bathe at Suoi Cac lake, Hoa Hiep commune.
While bathing in the lake, 4 girls suddenly drowned, sinking into the lake.
Discovering the incident, the friends of the 4 female students shouted for help, people ran to swim to rescue and bring the 4 victims to shore. However, all four of these girls died.
Receiving the news, Xuyen Moc district police were present at the scene and coordinated with Hoa Hiep Commune Police to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
According to local people, Suoi Cac lake is a deep lake, so far this lake has had many tragic drowning accidents.
