According to the Ministry of Health, on April 3, 74,608 patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total number of recovered COVID-19 cases so far to 7,787,962 cases.

The number of seriously ill patients being treated is 1,973 cases, in which, oxygen through a mask: 1,460 cases, high-flow oxygen breathing HFNC: 228 cases, non-invasive mechanical ventilation: 61 cases, invasive mechanical ventilation: 209 cases , ECMO: 15 cases.

Also on April 3, the whole country recorded 37 deaths from COVID-19. The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Vietnam so far is 42,600, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.
