On March 31, 2022, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen, a member of the Board of Directors of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company, submitted a resignation letter for personal reasons.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen was born in 1974, has a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages. Ms. Huyen has worked at Hoang Anh Gia Lai since 1996.
From 1998 to 2001, Ms. Huyen worked at Hoang Anh Quy Nhon Co., Ltd. From 2001 to 2007 she worked at the Representative Office of Hoang Anh Gia Lai JSC in Singapore
From 2007 to 2008, Ms. Huyen worked at Hoang Anh Quy Nhon Resort as Assistant Manager.
From 2008 to 2013, Ms. Huyen worked at Hoang Nguyen House Construction & Development JSC.
From 2013 to present: Working at Hoang Anh Gia Lai Myanmar Co., Ltd.
From April 18, 2014 to June 26, 2020: Member of the Supervisory Board of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company.
Ms. Huyen has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Hoang Anh Gia Lai since June 2020.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen currently owns 63,140 Hoang Anh Gia Lai shares, worth about 830 million VND.
According to the Resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders 2021 of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, the number of members of the Board of Directors of the company is 5 people. Therefore, after dismissing Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen, the number of members of the Board of Directors is not enough as prescribed. Therefore, at the coming Shareholders’ Meeting, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will elect one more member.
Before that, Hoang Anh Gia Lai also said goodbye to a public servant who had been with him for nearly 30 years, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh. Mr. Nguyen Van Minh joined Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group in 1992 and resigned due to health reasons.
