Hai Duong invests VND 1,500 billion to build the East-West backbone road
On April 3, Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee kicked off the East-West backbone project with a length of 36.5 km, a scale of 4-6 lanes, a total investment of 1,500 billion VND.
The East – West backbone project is implemented with public investment capital in the 2021-2025 period, from now until 2024, invested by the Hai Duong Province Investment and Construction Project Management Board.

The starting point of the route intersects with provincial road 392C at Doan Ket commune, Thanh Mien district, passing through Thanh Mien and Ninh Giang districts and ending at the intersection with provincial road 391 in Cong Lac commune, Tu Ky district. The road is designed to standard level 3 plain, speed 80 km/h.
This road axis will connect the southern districts of Hai Duong with Phu Cu district, Hung Yen province; linking provincial road network 393, 391, 396, 392C with Hanoi – Hai Phong highway, national highways 38B, 37.

During the day, Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee also started construction of two intersections between the provincial road and the Hanoi – Hai Phong highway. In which, the intersection of provincial road 392 with expressway in Binh Giang district has a total investment of 321 billion VND, funded by Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company. The intersection of provincial road 390 with expressway in Thanh Ha district has a total investment of 350 billion dong, funded by Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation.
Hai Duong is located in the Northern key economic region, on the economic corridor Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh, has great advantages in exchange and trade.
