Holiday schedule for Hung Kings Commemoration and April 30, May 1 of Hanoi students

Accordingly, on the occasion of Hung King’s death anniversary, officials, teachers, staff and students of preschools, primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, vocational education centers – continuing education, staff fostering schools The Ministry of Education in Hanoi is entitled to 1 day off on Monday (April 11) because March 10 of the lunar calendar is a Sunday (April 10 of the solar calendar).

As for the holidays of April 30 and May 1, for units and schools that implement a fixed holiday schedule of 2 days a week on Saturday and Sunday, they will be entitled to 2 days off on Monday and Tuesday (ie. May 2 and May 3), since April 30 and May 1 are Saturdays and Sundays. For units that only have a fixed Sunday off every week, they will be compensated on May 2.

Thus, during the two holidays, Hanoi students are allowed to have at most 7 days off (including 3 days on the Hung King’s death anniversary, 4 days on the 30/4 and 1/5 holidays).

During the holiday period, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires the units to well perform the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; maintaining the on-call work, ready to deploy the plans and tasks assigned by the city and the industry.

Units and schools closely coordinate with local police to take necessary measures to ensure absolute safety in terms of facilities, equipment, and fire prevention and control.

Schools also need to propagate and educate students to live a civilized and elegant lifestyle, maintain social order and safety, and traffic safety; not participate in racing, cheering for illegal racing; Strictly follow the code of conduct in public places.

The Department also requested that, after the holiday, units need to immediately stabilize their order, ensure that the activities of the unit and school are on schedule according to regulations and guiding documents of the industry.
