MU intends to recruit Harry Kane: Easy to make mistakes of the century, should they belong together?

Man City ignored Harry Kane to devote all his energy to the Erling Haaland deal. That opens up opportunities for MU, but this is not necessarily a deal that makes sense for both.

Summer 2021, Man City sent to Tottenham offer worth £130 million for Harry Kane. However, the determination of the chairman of the North London team, Mr. Daniel Levy, made the ambition of the Etihad Stadium team bankrupt.

From being both the top scorer and the best passer in the Premier League last season with 23 goals and 14 assists, the achievement of the “Spurs” captain this season is much more modest. In theory, Harry Kane is more suitable for the style of play that coach Pep Guardiola built for the Manchester team, because the ability to create the play of an almighty player like Kane is extremely important.

Should MU and Kane belong together?

If Man City faced fierce opposition from Chairman Daniel Levy, MU received the cooperation of British businessman. It seems Tottenham also find that keeping Kane, a player who is about to be 29 years old and has a contract until June 2024, is not the optimal solution.

How should Kane choose his next stop?

Just until the summer of 2023, when Kane is 30 years old and only has 1 year left on his contract with Tottenham, the North London team will certainly not collect the expected amount. However, the question is whether Harry Kane should come to MU or not?

In the short term, maybe Kane can still help the “Red Devils”, but this is clearly a risky deal for both sides. The reason Kane is determined to leave is because he is aiming for trophies, which Tottenham cannot bring. But remember MU is also going through the 5th year in a row empty-handed. Therefore, this is not a safe place for Kane.
