During the unseasonal rain at the end of March, the sea in Da Nang was fierce, the waves were very big, but there were still people and tourists who still defied the danger to bathe.

The rain from March 31 to April 3 broke many records in the history of rain in March. In which, Da Nang suffered this rain for 5 days, causing many houses and crops of people in the city. Da Nang was flooded, causing heavy damage.

As noted by Tien Phong, due to the influence of this anomalous rain, on April 3, the sea in Da Nang was still violent and created high waves continuously hitting the shore.

However, at Phuoc My beach (Son Tra district), dozens of people still defied the danger of diving into the sea.

According to a lifeguard at Phuoc My beach, people spontaneously swim in the sea, so the control is not guaranteed. Beach people, mostly locals.

It is known that the rain in the provinces from Da Nang to Quang Nam also started near the morning of April 4, lasting until April 5 with a common rainfall of 100-200mm, in some places over 250mm.

Previously, on the evening of March 27, at Pham Van Dong beach (Son Tra district, Da Nang city) a group of tourists with 6 people went to take a bath when 5 people were suddenly swept away by water. In it, a tourist from Nam Dinh was swept away by sea water.

Dozens of people risked their lives to swim in the sea.
