The Ferrari 488 Pista is a racing version of the regular 488 GTB model. Many details of the 488 Pista are taken from two racing models, the 488 Challenge and 488 GTE, to help reduce weight. The biggest difference of the 488 Pista compared to the regular version is the air vent located on the bonnet, which Ferrari calls this “S duct”. When traveling at high speed, the air flow will enter the air gap in the front bumper and exit this air cavity, helping to increase the pressure of the front of the car.
The interior of the car is completely made of Alcantara material. However, customers can still request Ferrari to cover the interior of the car. The racing seats are made from carbon fiber. The entertainment system is controlled via the screen behind the steering wheel and the car has JBL speakers.
Ferrari 488 Pista is equipped with a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 710 horsepower and torque of 770 Nm. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the car takes only 2.85 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km / h and reaches a maximum speed of 340 km / h. The dry weight of the car is at 1,280 kg.
