It is known that the origin of the above drugs is from European countries, and the unit has established a special project to fight and dismantle.

On the evening of March 30, 2022, the Vinh City Police chaired and coordinated with the Cua Lo Town Police to successfully crack the case and arrest the subject Nguyen Minh Tuan (SN, 1988, residing in Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City) for the behavior illegal drug trafficking. At the time of being caught, Tuan was carrying drugs for consumption in Hung Binh ward, Vinh city.

The seized exhibits include: 01 kg of ketamine, 500 ecstasy pills, 01 motorbike and 01 mobile phone. Tuan had a previous conviction for intentionally causing injury.

Initially, Tuan confessed that in the past time he had colluded with relatives in the UK to buy and sell drugs. Subjects use software such as zalo, telegram, messenger to discuss and plan to transport drugs from abroad to Vietnam by air.

With many different disguises, drugs passed through the airport border gate and transferred to Nghe An province. Tuan received goods and divided them to sell to those in need in Vinh City.

Currently, the project is being investigated and expanded by the Vinh City Police.
