The Ministry of Health and localities are also preparing to vaccinate children from 5 to under 12 years old in early April 2022.

Carrying out the tasks assigned by the Government, on December 20, 2021, the Ministry of Health issued Decision No. 5772/QD-BYT on the form and process for the issuance of “vaccine passports”. The vaccine passport application process consists of 3 steps. First, vaccination facilities review, verify and authenticate information on the vaccination management platform. After verification, vaccination facilities validate vaccination data with a digital signature. At this step, depending on the actual situation, localities can assign the Department of Health or the Center for Disease Control of the province, the vaccination facility to be responsible for approving the information. People receive vaccine passports, displayed on the COVID-19 PC application or the electronic health book.
