Cockpit glass cracked, plane made emergency landing

Delta said in a statement that the plane was experiencing “maintenance problems” while en route. “Out of an abundance of caution, the crew diverted to Denver and the plane landed safely. Our staff quickly put passengers on another plane,” the airline said.

Passenger Kirk Knowlton shared on Twitter a photo showing the cockpit window completely cracked. “Fortunately, we landed safely and then boarded another flight,” the passenger said.

The cause of the crack is unknown and the FAA has launched an investigation.
