Collection of nearly a hundred ‘terrible cars’ of real estate giants

MalaysiaChin Jit Pyng owns the largest car collection in Malaysia, including a trio of Bugatti supercars worth more than tens of millions of dollars.

Chin Jit Pyng (or JP) – managing director of real estate development and investment company Symphony Life – currently has about 60-100 cars in the collection. The number is not fixed because Chin often buys and sells many car models.

The most special in the collection are the Bugattis. The first model was ordered by Chin in 2016: a Chiron for $ 2.6 million. Next was a Divo that cost $5.7 million and only 40 were produced. The third car that has just been ordered by Chin and is expected to receive the car in 2024 is a Bolide racing product for about $ 4.7 million.

Currently, Chin’s Bugatti Divo is on display at the French supercar company’s showroom in Singapore. The 66-year-old tycoon cannot drive Divo in Malaysia because the supercar only has a left-hand drive version while the country only allows registration of cars with a right-hand steering wheel.

The rest of the collection includes a series of supercars Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, many luxury and antique cars and a series of large displacement motorcycles. About 30-40 cars are on display at Chin’s own auto museum in Kuala Lumpur. And 10-15 cars are versions inspired by the famous movies about 007 agent, The Godfather.
