From the place where vegetables are grown and chickens are raised, Lach Tray yard has made an amazing makeover

In January 2021, Hai Phong city police sent a document reflecting that Lach Tray Stadium was not eligible to hold matches in the framework of the V-League and the National Cup because it was seriously degraded. Many problems such as fire protection, stand railings are not guaranteed. Especially, the area of the stand D is also a place to grow vegetables and raise chickens.

On the evening of May 10, 2021, Lach Tray yard began to be closed for renovation and upgrading with a total investment of up to 65 billion VND. The first item to be treated is the pitch.

The lawn has been replaced with bermuda grass imported from the US and cared for 3 times a week. Modern lawn mowers are also invested. Currently, the home turf of Hai Phong Club is among the most beautiful in Vietnam.

Stand A and stand B have been fitted with plastic seats.

The seats are also cleaned. Walls and ceilings have been repainted.

The VIP stand area is fitted with soft seats. The seats of the coaching staff were also replaced.

The changing room is completely renewed with the main red color, the logo color of Hai Phong football club.

The bathroom is quite modern and clean.

The toilet system is newly invested with urinals, washbasins, cleaner and more beautiful than big stadiums like My Dinh or Thien Truong stadium.

In addition, Lach Tray Stadium also has a gym for players to practice.

Although construction has not been completed, Lach Tray Stadium still welcomes thousands of spectators to the field to cheer for Hai Phong Club when welcoming Nam Dinh on March 2. In the near future, when the upgrade process is completed, Lach Tray will be the dream home of the red phoenix city club.
Lach Tray Stadium is located on Lach Tray Street, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City. Over 60 years of use, Lach Tray yard has been renovated and repaired 5 times in 1977, 1995, 2001, 2003 and 2013. In recent years, Lach Tray yard has been seriously degraded. In 2021, Lach Tray stadium was once again repaired and remedied.
