He and Meritorious Artist Kim Tien are the voice actors for Journey to the west 1986 – the favorite movie of many generations of Vietnamese audiences. Awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 1993, he never let this title bother him. Meritorious Artist Minh Tri once said that as long as many people invite him to work, read the voiceover, host the program, he will feel happy.
Artist Minh Tri died on the morning of March 31 due to old age and weakness, aged 77. According to Phuong Anh – his daughter, the last days of his life passed gently, without regret. He passed away peacefully with a personality that always accepted reality like when he was alive.
