HAGL “destroys” the opponent

On 4/4/2010, HAGL welcoming Nam Dinh at home to Pleiku in round 7 of the 2010 V-League. That was the time when both teams were in bad form. While HAGL lost 3 of the first 6 matches of the season, Nam Dinh did not win a match in the first 6 rounds.

With the advantage of home field and superior force, HAGL pressed the field from the beginning, but it was not until the 37th minute that Evaldo broke the deadlock. Before the first half ended, Evaldo completed a brace to help the home team lead 2-0.

In the second half, Nam Dinh played not bad, but 2 yellow cards in just a few minutes of midfielder Van Quy caused the away team to “break the match”. In the last 10 minutes of the match, Evaldo scored 2 more goals and Doan Viet Cuong had 1 goal to help HAGL end the match with the final score 5-0.

Up to now, the match 12 years ago is still one of HAGL’s biggest victories in the V-League. Evaldo is also the closest player of the Nui street team to score 4 goals in 1 match in Vietnam’s top club tournament.
