Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son said that the Ministry of Education and Training had soon directed the local Departments of Education and Training in bringing students back to school soon. Over the past time, the COVID-19 epidemic has been complicated, but now the situation has changed positively.

“Currently 92.17% of students return to school. This afternoon (April 4), Hanoi announced that students will return to school from April 6. Thus, 97% of students will go to school directly. For preschool, 62/63 localities let their children go to school, except Hanoi, which has not yet allowed it. Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son added more information.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued a written consent to allow students in grades 1 to 6 from 30 districts and towns to return to school from April 6. The above decision of the Hanoi People’s Committee is based on the proposal. of the Department of Education and Training. Preschool students continue to stay at home.

Schools that organize direct instruction for students from grades 1 to 6 may study twice a day and eat as a day-board, depending on the school’s teaching plan and parental consent.

Before that, 660,000 students in grades 7-12 returned to school in person. Grade 9 in 18 districts and suburban towns will study directly from November 2021. Up to now, in Hanoi, only preschool is not allowed to go to school directly since April 2021.
