Honda is the company with the richest product range in the Vietnamese market. In 2021, the company’s sales will reach nearly 2 million units, accounting for about 79.9% of the motorcycle market share of VAMM (Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers). VAMM includes members: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Piaggio, SYM.

Vietnam’s motorcycle market in 2021 and early 2022 is quite quiet in the segment of digital cars and popular scooters. The companies with the largest market share such as Yamaha, Honda, and Piaggio generally do not have any breakthrough products, appearing for the first time.

In contrast, the large-displacement vehicle segment had a vibrant occasion when in early 2022, Piaggio opened two Motoplex motorcycle display complexes and started trading two brands Aprilia and Moto Guzzi. Yamha also put into operation the Revzone motorcycle showroom as a counterweight to Honda’s Bigbike display system.
