According to the announcement of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), more than 20 million USD will be donated to partners driver in Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore.
Specifically, driver partners in Indonesia will receive shares under the Gotong Royong Share Program, while driver partners in Vietnam and Singapore will receive gratitude gifts in the form of cash.
So how much do Vietnamese drivers get?
According to the notice of Gojek, driver partners are an important part of the Gojek family and the GoTo corporation. Each driver will receive a cash gift with a value of 2,000,000 VND. This gift is reserved for driver partners who have accompanied Gojek since its launch in Vietnam (in 2018) until now.
The driver Joining Gojek from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021 will receive an amount of VND 500,000.
This amount will be transferred directly to the Driver Wallet of the partners this month.
“To ensure that you receive the full gift from GoTo, you will not have to pay tax on this amount. The arising taxes (if any) will be covered by GoToah,” said GoTo’s leadership.
