Colonel, Dr. Vu Xuan Tien, Head of the Secretariat of the Military Admissions Committee of the Ministry of National Defense, said that in 2021, in the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of Defense promptly appointed supplementing a plan for admission of academic records for candidates who are privileged to graduate from high school in 2021 and candidates who have graduated from high school but cannot take the 2021 high school graduation exam.

2021 is also the first year that the Ministry of National Defense deploys clinical examination and paraclinical testing right from the pre-qualification for all candidates applying for admission, in order to promptly detect candidates with pathological factors. , limiting the situation of candidates being rejected after being admitted or having to drop out during the training process.

As a result of enrollment in 2021, candidates who are ethnic minorities admitted to military universities increased by more than 110 candidates compared to 2020. All provinces and cities have candidates who have won the first choice.

The provinces with the highest number of successful candidates are: Nghe An (with 405 candidates), Thanh Hoa (with 334 candidates), Ha Tinh (with 268 candidates), Nam Dinh (with 185 candidates), Dak Lak (with 168 candidates),…

After that, the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense promptly advised and proposed to increase the quota so that candidates with high admission scores would not lose their chances of being admitted.

There are no plans to build a separate exam

In the enrollment season in 2022, Dr. Vu Xuan Tien said that, in addition to adjusting the enrollment registration after having the results of the high school graduation exam according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the enrollment in military schools is still the same as in 2021.

For candidates who wish to apply to military schools, Mr. Tien noted, they must go through a pre-qualification and meet the criteria prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense. If you do not participate in the pre-qualification, you will not be able to participate in the examination.

The pre-qualification period for military schools takes place from March 15 to before May 20.

Regarding the enrollment quota for military schools in 2022: Out of 17 academies and military officer schools, this year, only 3 schools have quotas for female candidates, including: Military Medical Academy, Military Science Academy. and Military Technical Academy.

In there, Military Medical University recruiting 30 training targets for military medical doctors; Military science Academy recruiting 8 targets (2 each) for the majors of English Language, Russian Language, Chinese Language and International Relations; Military Technical Institute recruiting 24 candidates for the fields of Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Biomedical Electronics, Optical Weapons, Geoinformatics.

Schools enroll by the method of taking scores from high to low until the quota is met. Due to the small number of female candidates, the standard score is often higher than that of male candidates.

Military schools also allow candidates who have submitted a pre-qualification application to a military school, where candidates intend to apply for the 1st choice exam, if they wish, to adjust their wishes to apply for group admissions. field as follows:

Group 1 including 13 schools (not taking candidates with myopia) are the Academy: Logistics, Navy, Border Guard, Air Defense – Air Force (command and staff system) and officer schools: Army 1 , Army 2, Politics, Special Forces, Artillery, Tanks and Armors, Chemical Defense, Information, Engineers.

Group 2 including 4 schools (candidates can have myopia no more than 3 go – tan) are academies: Military Engineering, Military Medicine, Military Science, Air Defense – Air Force (Aeronautical Engineering System).

Previously, the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense announced the enrollment quota of the military school block. Accordingly, this year, there are 17 academies and officers’ schools enrolling 4,742 training targets at military university level and 1 school assigned to train students at military college level with 80 targets.
