SEA Games 31: Vietnam national men’s volleyball team is selected for the group

In the men’s volleyball content, a total of 7 teams participated. Based on the results at the last Sea Games, the 4 teams with the highest rankings were placed in 2 groups. In Group A, there is the presence of defending champion Indonesia and the 4th place team Myanmar.

Meanwhile, Group B includes the 30th SEA Games runners-up Philippines and the Thai team. The remaining two teams, Cambodia and Malaysia, will be drawn by the organizers to divide the group on April 12. The Vietnamese volleyball team will have the right to choose their group at the upcoming Sea Games.

Thus, surely teachers and coach Li Huan Ning will enter the group with the presence of 4 teams. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, in the women’s volleyball content, 5 teams registered to participate are Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia. Teams will compete in a round-robin format. The top two teams will compete in the final. The two teams ranked 3rd and 4th will compete for bronze. Volleyball will take place from May 13 to 22 at Dai Yen Sports Palace, Quang Ninh.
