Students from grades 1 to 6 go to school from April 6. Preschool students continue to stay at home.

Schools that organize direct instruction for students from grades 1 to 6 may study twice a day and eat as a day-board, depending on the school’s teaching plan and parental consent.

Schools must meet safety requirements in the prevention and control of COVID-19 according to the interdisciplinary guidance of the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health; develop a plan of rehearsal and handling when F0 is recorded at school; Sanitize and disinfect before and after class. In the process of direct teaching, if cases related to epidemiological problems occur, the school actively handles according to instructions and reports to the local anti-epidemic steering committee.

Before that, 660,000 students in grades 7-12 returned to school in person. Grade 9 in 18 districts and suburban towns will study directly from November 2021. Up to now, only preschool is not allowed to go to school directly since April 2021.
