In the first week of the third quarter Olympia, four contestants competed: Nguyen Truc Huong (Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Binh Dinh), Tran Le Na (Le Truc High School, Quang Binh Province), Nguyen Duc Manh (Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted). , Vinh Phuc) and Tran Thi Quynh Anh (Phan Dinh Phung High School, Ha Tinh).

In the Warm-up section, Duc Manh dominated when he continuously gave correct answers to score 100 points. The remaining three contestants, Quynh Anh, Truc Huong, and Le Na got scores of 5, 15, and 25, respectively.

The second suggested horizontal row was selected with the question: According to Confucian point of view, a gentleman is a person who has all five virtues, known as the five commons: Le, Nghia, Tri, Faith and what else? Le Na, Duc Manh, Quynh Anh got points with the answer “Human”.

The third row of cues was selected with the question: If 3 cats can catch 3 mice in 3 minutes, how many cats are needed to catch 90 mice in 30 minutes? Le Nam and Duc Manh have points with the answer “9”.

Quynh Anh has a signal to answer the keyword to find, but it is not accurate. The other candidates followed up with the final suggested horizontal question: According to Carl Friedrich Gauss, which subject is considered the “queen of the sciences”? All three contestants got points with “Math”.

Next, Duc Manh and Le Na pressed the bell to answer keywords. Le Na gave the answer “Analytical numbers”, Duc Manh gave the answer “Times table”. And 40 points went to Duc Manh.

In the Acceleration section, Duc Manh continued to maintain his excellent performance to raise the total score to 290 points. Next is Le Nam 155 points, Quynh Anh 105 points, Truc Huong 55 points.

At the finish line, Duc Manh safely selected 3 questions worth 20 points and took the place with 330 points. However, the score of the male student at Vinh Phuc School for the Gifted still won the opportunity to raise his score in Le Na’s exam.
