Chairman of the Audit Committee “looks at the house” of the district president: What do the parties say?
Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the District Party Committee Dak Ha said that the request to provide the district chairman’s house file is the content of the work.
In the past few days, public opinion in Kon Tum province has paid special attention to the fact that Nguyen The Quyen, Chairman of the Inspection Committee (UBKT) of Dak Ha District Party Committee, was fined for destroying land. At the same time, Mr. Quyen also requested in writing to provide information about the district chairman’s private house.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen The Quyen, Chairman of the Economic Committee of Dak Ha District Party Committee, was issued a decision to impose a fine of 3.5 million VND by the People’s Committee of Dak Ha town for his act of destroying the land and forcing him to restore the original state of the land within a period of time. 90 days.
Dak Ha District Party Committee had a meeting to exchange information with the press about the case
Specifically, on April 1, Mr. Nguyen Khac Sy, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dak Ha town, made a record and issued a decision to administratively sanction Mr. Nguyen The Quyen. The reason is that Mr. Quyen has leveled the ground and illegally built on agricultural land (the location of the road surface to Kon Trang Long Loi Community Tourism Village, residential group 2A, town of Dak Ha), an area of more than 2A. 300 m2.
Talking about Mr. Quyen asking the Economic – Infrastructure Department to provide documents to build his own house, Mr. Ha Tien, Chairman of Dak Ha District People’s Committee, said that his house has been here for decades, built in 2008. , has a full construction profile. He did not understand why this happened. Currently, the district does not have a policy of checking or making statistics and checking the whole population.
Mr. Tien also said he had no conflict with Mr. Quyen. Recently, only the town issued a document to sanction Mr. Quyen for building on agricultural land.

District Party Committee does not direct
On the morning of April 4, discussing with Ho Chi Minh City Law Reporter about this scandal, Mr. Ka Ba Thanh, Secretary of the Dak Ha District Party Committee, affirmed: The Standing District Party Committee did not direct Mr. Quyen to issue a written request. The branch of the Economic – Infrastructure Division directs the District Economic – Infrastructure Division to provide construction documents for the house of Mr. Ha Tien, Chairman of the District People’s Committee, in hamlet 5, Ha Mon commune, Dak Ha district.
According to Mr. Thanh, Mr. Tien is currently the deputy secretary and chairman of the District People’s Committee, so the inspection and provision of personal related documents must be approved by the Standing Provincial Party Committee and the District Party Committee. The fact that Mr. Quyen issued the above document right and wrong needs to be checked and verified whether it is in accordance with the law or not.

Mr. Thanh explained further: The District Audit Committee also has the function of monitoring and inspecting the unit. In case of following the plan of the unit, it is still okay. In the document dated March 30, Mr. Quyen only requested to provide, not to check. If Mr. Quyen issued a house inspection document, it is wrong.
Providing more information regarding Mr. Quyen’s illegal construction on agricultural land, Mr. Thanh said: Mr. Quyen did not build an illegal house, but only built a fence, not a foundation. Mr. Quyen’s fault was that he had not asked the permission of the local government to build a fence. It is normal to make a fence on this land. This land location is also planned for urban land, which is expected to be approved from June to September 2022.
“No more supervision”
Talking directly to Ho Chi Minh City Law Reporter, Mr. Nguyen The Quyen, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Dak Ha District Party Committee, said that he pointed out a written request to provide documents, not the house of the district president. This is the content of the work. Currently, the Department of Economy – Infrastructure has not provided this information, so it is no longer monitoring.
Reporter asked if he had any conflicts with Mr. Ha Tien regarding his sanction, but asked to provide records of Mr. Ha Tien’s house, not anyone else’s? Quyen said: “I have no contradictions. As for me, I made a written request to provide documents for a reason, but it was not convenient to provide them.”
