Panzerfaust 3, shortened to PzF 3, is a shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon that was researched by the West German government in the 1970s, and officially entered service in the country’s army in 1989. According to Military Today, the weight of PzF 3 in combat is 12.9kg, of which rocket weighs 3.9kg; 1.2m in length. The muzzle speed of the PzF 3 reaches 160 m/s; Effective range with moving and fixed targets reaches 300m and 400m respectively. PzF 3’s missiles are capable of penetrating 0.8m of homogeneous steel (RHA) or 1.6m of concrete.

Later, Germany equipped its soldiers with a version of the PzF 3-IT that used a re-explosive warhead (Tandem) missile, that is, after the first dose of the missile exploded, causing the reactive armor to explode (ERA). RGW90 HH Matador

The German news site DW reported that Ukraine at the end of last month purchased 5,100 RGW90 HH Matador anti-tank weapons from Germany’s Dynamit Nobel Defense (DND) corporation with a total value of up to 25 million euros. More than 2,650 of them are already in Ukraine, the rest will be delivered by the end of May.
