Although she initially left the army this past January, just a month later Charcoal was back in the ranks of Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrogradsky’s 35th Infantry Brigade.
Charcoal has been compared to the legendary sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko, a Ukrainian who went by the alias of Lady Death for killing 39 Nazi soldiers during World War II. Pavlichenko is considered the most successful female sniper ever in Ukraine.
